NL Postseason

The National League will be no surprise as to who wins what division.

1.       Chicago Cubs

2.       New York Mets

3.       LA Dodgers

Wild Card game

4.       Milwaukee Brewers

Arizona Diamondbacks

NL West

NL West:

Colorado Rockies

Arizona Diamondbacks

LA Dodgers

San Diego

San Francisco Giants

The Rockies always seem to start off hot but always seem to cool off around middle of the season. The Diamondbacks are finally getting the Zack Grienke they paid for, unfortunately it won’t rub off on the rest of the pitching staff. The Dodgers are young and hungry. They end the season hot and win the division.

NL Central

NL Central:

Chicago Cubs

Cincinnati Reds

Milwaukee Brewers

St. Louis Cardinals

Pittsburgh Pirates

Eric Thames is the hottest batter in Major League Baseball. He is the first player to 10 home runs this season. He spent some time over in Korea and tightened up his swing. The Cubs are in a World Series funk but there is no way the miss the playoffs after missing for 108 straight years. They broke the curse and they aren’t about to go back. Cubs win division.

NL East

NL East:

Washington Nationals

Miami Marlins

Philadelphia Phillies

NY Mets

Atlanta Braves

Max Scherzer is wheeling and dealing. Scherzer is dominating the NL East with a 3-1 record with a 1.95 ERA. The Nationals may be hot now but they’ll find a way to blow it like they always do and the Mets will come out on top.

AL Postseason

The American League will be full of surprises but will look familiar at the end of the season.
1.       Orioles
2.       Astros
3.       Indians
Wild Card game
4.       Tigers
5.       Red Sox

AL West

AL West:

Houston Astros

Oakland Athletics

Texas Rangers

LA Angels

Seattle Mariners

Houston seems to be one of the best teams in all of baseball right now. The Astros jumped four spots from last week’s power rankings going from #5 to #1.  Dallas Keuchel is off to a hot start with a record of 3-0 and .096 ERA. Houston wins the AL West.

AL Central

AL Central:

Detroit Tigers

Cleveland Indians

Chicago White Sox

Minnesota Twins

Kansas City Royals

The Indians are having quite the World Series hangover. Their off to a 10-8 start and are struggling to find their way. They end up winning the division by at least five games.

AL East

AL East:

Baltimore Orioles

Boston Red Sox

New York Yankees

 Tampa Bay Rays

Toronto Blue Jays

The Orioles are off to a hot start and don’t seem to be looking back any time soon. My prediction is that the Yankees will make it a tight race but the Orioles will win.

Way too early

It’s time for my extremely way too early predictions on who I think will win each division and so forth. In this story, we will look at each division and I will give my opinions with who I think will win the it all. I will be working from East to West. These are the current standings. I will be posting them in separate posts for each division.
